Hi there! I’m Aanya Surekha, and I write stories for the smallest readers with the biggest imaginations. the stories that spark giggles, curiosity, and cozy bedtime cuddles.

Ever since I was a little kid building forts out of couch cushions and pretending my dog could talk (he definitely could), I’ve loved stories. The sillier, the better. The cozier, even better-er. Now, I get to create books that bring that same joy, wonder, and giggle-fits to kids everywhere.

My books are filled with:

• Talking animals who learn to be brave,

• Curious kids who ask lots of questions,

• And magical moments tucked into everyday life.
  
  

Whether it’s bedtime, story time, or “one more book, pleeeease!” time, I hope my stories make kids feel seen, safe, and inspired to dream big.

A Few Fun Facts!

My favorite snack while writing: chocolate chips cookies, double chocolate brownies. 

I once tried to learn how to juggle. It went… poorly.

If I could have a superpower, it would be instant book-writing… or flying. Probably flying. I have done parasailing though.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve believed in talking animals, faraway forests, and the magic that lives inside books. Now, I create my own stories filled with silly moments, gentle lessons, and characters who feel like best friends.

When I’m not writing, you can find me solving sudoku, playing chess / tetris / badminton or watching TV.
